Rishi Raghav is a former sectionally and nationally ranked tennis player. At the age of ten, Rishi made the decision to become a left-handed tennis player despite being a natural righty. After years of hard work, Rishi reached a career-high ranking of number 1 in the Middle States section (encompasses New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Northwestern Virginia) and number 81 in the nation for the boys 14 division. Additionally, Rishi was rated as a 4-star recruit by Tennis Recruiting.
Beyond his tennis accomplishments, Rishi is more proud of the work that he has done and continues to do with SumTennis. Through this non-profit organization, Rishi has taken the tennis skills he has gained throughout his tennis career, and transformed these skills into a community leadership role. Rishi ultimate objective is to merge the tennis lessons and non-profit objectives that are part of SumTennis to teach his students that beyond athletic success, it is strong character and community service that will pay off in dividends as they progress in life.
